As a community of human beings with hearts minds and souls let’s also think about how we encourage the courage for those we serve to have consistent confidence and trust they have our support in all situations. Our team members have confidence we trust their intent is always in pursuit of the greater good. We have compassion and praise honesty, and we show up with every intent to build the courage that withstands any feeling of the threat, fear, or difficulty. We want team members to have a confident peace without worry. We are vocal with our message and actions to our teams wanting them to feel confident and trusting that no matter what, it’s okay! It is also vitally important we are courageous leaders that admit our own short comings, which encourages those we serve to do the same. In other words, be at peace, it’s okay!

The Encourage the Courage Vulnerable – It’s Okays:

It’s Okay to admit we don’t understand knowing we are trying

It’s Okay to admit we are afraid

It’s okay to admit we are uncomfortably anxious

It’s Okay to make or admit a mistake knowing we can trust we are all trying as individuals and teams and use it as a learning opportunity

It’s okay to share our own adversity as it creates a place of comfort that we are not alone

“Adversity causes some men to break and others to break records” – Arthur Ward

As leaders we want to be a safe place for others to have the courage to meet adversity head on with a trusting understanding that seeking personal or professional help or assistance along the way is a courageous strength verses a weakness. We will meet all adversity with those we serve. We can’t say that enough and remember we don’t just become a safe place we have to do the work to build and earn the trust of those we serve that we are a safe place.
